Physical Android acceptance — pending

This record is for a real Android phone. Chromium's mobile emulation and desktop Firefox do not satisfy it. No physical-device result has been recorded yet. Start only after identifying the deployed application version and checking the corresponding CI result.

Record Android version, browser/version, installed PWA version (application footer/info), device timezone, test date/time and each observed result. Do not include login tokens, invitation links or push credentials.

First pass: installation and sign-in

  1. Open https://werkjournal.javagil.de in Android Chrome/Chromium and install the PWA using the browser's install action.
  2. Check that the installed launcher icon is the petrol journal icon. Launch from that icon and confirm that the app opens as an installed app and the narrow layout remains usable.
  3. Sign in with an already authorized account using a newly requested email code. In a separate authorized sign-in attempt, verify the alternative email link and return to the installed app. Each proof is single-use; request a new one for the second method. Do not post codes or links in the test record.
  4. Open a work form and type a distinctive description without saving. Switch apps and return, then reload. Confirm the draft remains available and no work has been added. Discard the test draft afterward.
  5. Enable airplane mode and reopen the already installed app. Confirm the offline notice, then reconnect. Check that existing records remain unchanged.
  6. Inspect Today, Work, Habits, Reports, catalog and Settings in portrait orientation. Confirm controls fit and remain reachable; also check theme switching and one language switch. Restore preferred settings afterward.

Separate pass: real background notifications

Coordinate this pass before enabling notification delivery or creating test accounts. Use a dedicated authorized test account with work tracking enabled and no work/day-off record for the chosen weekday. Do not delete real work records or change the device clock to make a reminder eligible.

  1. Opt in on the phone only. Confirm browser/OS notification permission and the app's enabled state. Record the reported timezone. Other devices remain opted out.
  2. During the fixed weekday window (20:00, with catch-up until 22:00 in that timezone), leave the installed app in the background and lock the phone. Observe whether the reminder actually appears; provider HTTP acceptance alone is insufficient.
  3. Tap the notification and confirm the dated Work form, customer/project defaults and unsaved state. To cover WJ-033, retain an actual notification until the following day and verify that tapping it still opens the original date. Record both dates.
  4. Verify suppression on a separate eligible weekday after marking that day off or saving test work; preserve existing real data. Disable test reminders and clean up only the agreed test account/records after acceptance.

A failed or missed delivery needs its real timestamp, timezone, opt-in and account eligibility checked before retrying. No synthetic email or push is authorized merely by creating this checklist.

Result

Pending operator participation. Keep android-device-acceptance, the encompassing browser/PWA nodes and WJ-033 open until their actual observations are recorded.
